The event

Io sono foresta ("I am forest") is an experiential event that presents artistic interventions inspired by the forest as an interconnected system.
For the second edition, two workshops are added: woodworking and data sonification. Participants will complete the finishing of table accessories from the “Rondine” collection by Wood Milano. From sanding to oil finishing, they will be guided in discovering traditional techniques. Thanks to a performance by Davide Anzaldi, participants will then witness the process of transforming the movements of the CNC machines used in woodworking into music. This will be followed by a natural finishes workshop, where participants will experiment with special staining effects on solid wood samples. At the end of the experience, participants will be able to take home the objects they have worked on.
The second part of the event will be dedicated to an exhibition of works related to the theme “Io sono foresta” curated by Martin Romeo and Emanuele Alfieri.
