Aerial Forms

Aerial Forms are fluorescent, filiform, three-dimensional sculptures that make up suspended installations with shapes that interact with one another, along with a circle (Ø180 cm) that rotates sinuously, all evoking ancient marine flows. Each Aerial Form can be individually enclosed within a volume of approximately 18 ×27×36 cm and becomes particularly evocative when illuminated by ultraviolet light in darkness.
The installation Cosmic Dance refers to the Big Bang of life in the seas of our planet, which occurred between 540 and 485 million years ago. Here, the evolutionary leap is affirmed from forms such as sponges and amoebas, involuntarily carried by ocean currents, to forms that acquire symmetrical features and the ability to move intentionally. “Directionality was extremely important in triggering the life of complex organisms on Earth.
